Chicken and Spinach Balti

Chicken and Spinach Balti with Naan Bread

Naan bread

Ingredients (for 4 breads):

• 150g water at 22ºC

• 5g fresh yeast

• 250g soft white flour

• 50g plain yoghurt

• 3g good quality salt

• ½ tsp baking powder

• Sunflower oil

• Chopped fresh coriander (optional)


• Mix the water and yeast together and add half of the flour. Mix well and cover the bowl and leave to ferment in a warm place for 30 minutes.



May we thank you all for an excellent service yesterday. I was particularly spoilt because of my gluten free needs. Your waiting staff were very attentive. We were part of a civic party but will certainly not hesitate to return as a opulent. Thank you.


Xmas lunch at the Debut Restaurant yesterday was excellent. We did not know what to expect and were a bit apprehensive but all this was blown away by the superb service and the quality of the food. We are now booking for the evening taster menu. Do not miss this little gem.,and do not be put off by the very reasonable prices

My wife, son, daughter-in-law and I came for your evening Christmas tasting menu last Tuesday and wanted to thank everybody involved for an excellent evening. The meal was probably the best we have had with you yet and we are regular diners with you. Many thanks and Happy Christmas to you all and we look forward to seeing you all soon.


This is the 4th time we have been to the Debut restaurant for evening meals since October 2014. It has excellent service by the friendly trainee staff. It is 9 courses of Master Chef type of food.All fine dining style and excellent and well served. Been surprised (In good way) on the different courses that served an cooked well. It is a fine dining which less expensive than some restaurants in Norwich . It makes a very enjoyable evening. Would eat there every week!

Catered for a group of 45 covers with an excellent and tasty menu including dietary requirements. Run as part of the catering school. Service was prompt, attentive and friendly. A credit to the College.
